The Swedish Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (SVCA) will be the host of this 8th EBAN Winter University to take place on November 10th at Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. The EBAN Winter University is the EBAN annual workshop gathering representatives of the early stage industry across Europe, such as business angel group leaders, early stage venture fund managers and other intermediaries working with business angels and innovative high growth companies.
Topics to be discussed this year include preparing for exits, different investment mechanisms used by early stage investors, top performing investments and their management teams, ways to organize business angel investments to ease the VCs involvement, as well as opportunities for the development of a female business angel market.
Pre-workshop activities on the day before the event will be also organized, including the possibility to participate in a training about how to prepare shareholder agreements that suit both business angels and VCS, or in business visits organized by the Stockholm Business Region. On November 11th Stockholm will be also host of the NPEC event, the major annual private equity conference in the Nordic countries. This other event, always organized by SVCA, in cooperation with the DVCA, the FVCA and the NVCA, is open to Nordic venture capital funds and buyout funds as well as institutional investors, secondary funds, fund-of-funds, service providers, policy makers and academia. Attendees to the EBAN Winter University are welcome to register for this second event as well.
